Designer Hiroko Koshino is bringing the collection “Hirokokoshino Another One” into the XANA Metaverse as wearable NFTs for avatars!
NOBORDER.z FZE, the company behind a Metaverse “XANA” and NFT Marketplace “XANALIA” , has announced the collaboration with Character Business Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Hiroko Koshino Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Yuka Koshino) to sell the wearable fashion NFT for avatars that can be used in Metaverse and the opening of a brand shop on the NFT marketplace.
This partnership is another step towards converting Hiroko Koshino’s original 3D designed fashion items into NFTs that will be later on available at the NFT Marketplace “XANALIA ” allowing users to wear these wearable NFTs for their 3D avatars across the XANA Metaverse.
Set to release in April 2022, “Hirokokoshino Another One” collection will feature 10 wearable looks of Spring/Summer and the visuals of around 30 exclusive items. Likewise, it will start accepting sales reservations of the scheduled collection. After May 2022, 3D products will be launched in conjunction with real products sold in physical stores. Whereas in the future, besides the release combined with the collection twice a year (spring / summer / autumn / winter), the archive collection is planned to be developed as a special item.

Fashion brands are exploring digital clothing lines as digital assets, and wearables of virtual Avatars (3D humanoid models) that can be bought and sold as NFTs. These NFTs allow fashion brands to sell their unique digital asset, because their ownership can easily be proven with a blockchain based ledger. Hiroko Koshino has taken a somewhat different approach through launching NFT wearables of its clothes in collaboration with NOBORDER.z. This format enables the items to exist and be traded across the metaverse. Hiroko Koshino, being a top fashion designer for over 60 years, designing many fashion items such as bags, accessories, lifestyle related goods, and men’s clothing. In recent years, she has had many opportunities to present art works of painting and calligraphic works, and opened KH Gallery Ashiya in 2013 as a space to present her own works. In 2021, she held the “Hiroko Koshino Exhibition” at the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art and won the 1997 15th Mainichi Fashion Awards and the 2001 Osaka Culture Prize. Her creative activity filled with enduring energy continues on a global scale, freely crossing over between fashion, lifestyle and art.
