What is Transform?
Transform is an innovative component designed to enhance interaction with objects in virtual environments. By equipping the Transform component to a target object, users gain the ability to implement dynamic actions. These include:
- [Piston Move]: Set start and end values on the x, y, z axis to add “piston-like” movement.
- [Scale]: Define the range of start and end values on the x, y, z axis for “scaling up and down” within the specified range.
- [Tilt]: Adjust the range of start and end values on the x, y, z axis to achieve “tilting” actions within the set range.
How to Use Transform?
- Select the Asset: From the left panel (See attached image ①).
- Place the Asset: On the terrain (See attached image ②).
- Component List Display: Upon asset selection on the terrain, a component list appears on the right panel (See attached image ③)
- Select Transform [Move]: From the right panel.
- Set Range of Values: Define start and end values on the xyz axis.
- Operating Time and Loop: Set the duration (in seconds) and loop (repetition).
- Curve Type Selection: Choose from the drop-down menu.
- Test the Setup: Click the test button in the upper right corner to verify the Transform(Move) in test play.
- Trigger Activation: When the avatar contacts an object, the object moves within the set range.
Transform [Scale]
- Select the Scale Option: From the right-side Component panel.
2. Set Range of Values: Define start and end values on the xyz axis.
3. Operating Time and Loop Setup: Set the duration and loop.
4. Curve Type Selection: From the drop-down menu.
5. Testing the Setup: Use the test button to verify the Transform(Scale) in the test play.
6. Activation by Avatar Contact: Triggers the object to zoom in and out within the range.
Transform [Rotatable]
1. Select Rotatable Option: From the right panel.
2. Define Value Range: Set start and end values on the xyz axis.
3. Set Duration and Loop: Operating time and repetition.
4. Curve Type Selection: Via the drop-down menu.
5. Test Play: Click the test button to verify Transform(Rotatable).
6. Triggering Rotation: Avatar contact activates object rotation and tilt within the range.
